Students from Kyrgyzstan won medals at the Mathematical Olympiads. Press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.
Two students from Kyrgyzstan won bronze medals at the 34th Asian Pacific Mathematical Olympiad — Tilek Askerbekov from the Chingiz Aitmatov lyceum and Fedor Korniyash from school No. 61.
The ministry noted that the Kyrgyz students have been participating in the Asian Pacific Mathematical Olympiad since 2009. During these years they have won 9 bronze medals.
Fedor Korniyash also participated in the Republican Olympiad named after Sh. Smagulov in Kazakhstan and won the first place. In total, five representatives of Kyrgyzstan were invited to participate in the final stage.
