Smuggling of $1 million from Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan prevented

The border troops of Uzbekistan prevented the illegal export of $1 million from the republic to Kyrgyzstan. The State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan reported.

A resident of Pakhtaabad district of Andijan region tried to take the money out of the republic in two plastic bags. He was detained.

A criminal case has been initiated, an investigation is underway.
