The CSTO members countries will hold several command and staff exercises at once. Press service of the organization reported.
According to it, organizing and conducting reconnaissance by the forces and means of the intelligence agencies of the CSTO member states in the interests of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces (CRRF) will be worked out during Poisk — 2022 (Search) special exercise.
The special exercise Echelon — 2022 is aimed at working out the issues of organizing logistic and maintenance support.
The command-staff exercise with the CSTO CRRF Interaction — 2022 provides for the development of issues of preparing and conducting a joint operation on bringing an armed conflict in the Central Asian region of collective security under control. For the first time, a new division of collective forces will take part in the exercise — the joint formation of radiation, chemical, biological protection and medical support of the CSTO.
It is planned to conduct a research on the use of the Collective Aviation Forces of the CSTO and provision of air defense of the forces and means of the CSTO CRRF.
These exercises are planned to be held on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan at Matybulak training ground.
Command and staff exercises of the CSTO peacekeeping forces Indestructible Brotherhood — 2022 are planned to be held in Kyrgyzstan.
