Kazakhstan cancels PCR, vaccination certificates when crossing border

Kazakhstan cancels the requirement to provide negative PCR test result or vaccination certificate when crossing the border. Vlast.kz reports.

According to the media, the decision was made by the interdepartmental commission on the prevention and spread of coronavirus in Kazakhstan, taking into account stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the country and the world.

«Cancel mandatory requirement for citizens of Kazakhstan and foreigners to present documentary evidence of vaccination or revaccination against COVID-19 (passport / certificate / certificate of vaccination against COVID-19), and in their absence, a certificate with negative result of PCR test for COVID-19 when crossing the state border of Kazakhstan from June 8,» the statement says.

The ban on the work of 12 temporarily closed automobile checkpoints on certain sections of the state border of Kazakhstan in seven regions of the country was also lifted.
