Sadyr Japarov and Kamchybek Tashiev open SCNS training center

A training center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) was opened near Bishkek. Press service of the President reported.

President Sadyr Japarov attended the opening ceremony of the facility. He said that an analysis of the situation in Central Asia and the world as a whole showed that international terrorist, religious extremist organizations, drug traffickers and transnational criminal groups seeking to destabilize the socio-political situation in Kyrgyzstan could pose an unexpected threat to the country’s security.

The President stressed that the situation in the region and the world, modern challenges and threats require from the authorities to take decisive and consistent measures to ensure national security and social stability in the country.

«There is a need to create a training center that meets all international standards to improve the skills of special services in the fight against terrorism and other crimes, as well as to improve and strengthen the country’s defense against terrorists,» the statement says.

All the conditions for training, advanced training, long-term accommodation and maintenance of employees were taken into account on the territory of the center.

«I hope that the national security agencies will continue to conscientiously fulfill their duty to the motherland. May there always be peace and development in Kyrgyzstan and throughout the world!» he concluded.
