Akylbek Japarov dismisses two more Deputy Ministers of Health

Zhalalidin Rakhmatullaev and Japarkul Tashiev have been relieved of their posts as Deputy Ministers of Health. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The corresponding decision was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov. Earlier, Uluk-Bek Bekturganov was dismissed from the same post.

Uluk-Bek Bekturganov, Zhalalidin Rakhmatullaev and Japarkul Tashiev addressed the President Sadyr Japarov and the head of the Cabinet Akylbek Japarov at a press conference. The doctors asked to consider the job competence of Alymkadyr Beishenaliev.

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Kyrgyzstan opened seven criminal cases against the Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev. One criminal case was initiated on corruption, two — on extortion of a bribe, and four — on abuse of official position and conclusion of a deliberately unprofitable contract.

The Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev extorted 1 million soms from his deputy Uluk-Bek Bekturganov, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office informed earlier.

Director of the Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis Gulbara Ishenapysova and the head of the Department of Medicines and Medical Products Sultan Satarbekov were also detained within the case.

The President, by his decision, suspended the head of the Ministry of Health and the Prosecutor General from work for investigation period.
