Detective of the Department of Internal Affairs of Osh city was detained. Press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.
The police officer is suspected of extorting $1,500.
«The policeman was detained on the territory of Kara-Suu district when receiving part of the extorted money — 20,000 soms. The law enforcement officer worked as a detective at the department for combating organized crime,» the state committee said.
