The Bishkek City Court overturned the decision of the Pervomaisky District Court against a human rights activist Dinara Oshurakhunova. She wrote about it on Twitter.
«The decision against me that I participated in the rally on March 17 and did not obey the demands of the police was canceled due to the absence of an offense. We will file a lawsuit against the police for the illegal detention,» she said.
Earlier, the judge of the Pervomaisky District Court, Taalaibek Tursunbekov, fined Dinara Oshurakhunova 3,000 soms.
A rally was held near the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan on March 17. Aziza Abdirasulova and Ondurush Toktonasyrov came to the diplomatic mission building. Later, several other people joined them, including the human rights activist Dinara Oshurakhunova.
At first, the police did not interfere with the protest, but later law enforcement officers asked the protesters to leave. However, the protesters demanded an official warning. Law enforcement officers detained the participants of the rally and took them to the Internal Affairs Department of Pervomaisky district.
