Exchange offices of Bishkek and commercial banks buy the dollar for 83-84 soms and sell for 84-84.5 soms. Since yesterday evening, it has depreciated by 1.5-2 soms, and by 4 soms since the beginning of the week. Its official rate was set by the National Bank at 83.5025 soms.
Exchange rate of euro has fallen by 3 soms since the beginning of the week — from 95.5 to 92.5 soms.
The Russian ruble is also losing its value. Its buying rate is lower than 1 som. The Russian currency is now bought for 0.9-0.95 som and sold — for 1.03-1.05 soms. Its official rate is 0.9896 som.
