Depreciation of the U.S dollar continues in Kyrgyzstan. Its exchange rate fell by 2 more soms for half a day.
Exchange offices of the capital and commercial banks buy the dollar for 79.5-80 soms, and sell it for 81.5-82.5 soms. The official rate is set by the National Bank at 83,309 soms.
Exchange rate of the Russian ruble remains stable. It is bought for 0.8-0.92 som, and sold for 1.01-1.05 soms. Its nominal rate is 0.9551 soms.
Due to a sharp depreciation of the dollar, the National Bank bought the currency on the market for the first time in four years.
