The world championship GAMMA MMA WORLD WIDE took place in Amsterdam (Netherlands) from March 23 to March 27. The MMA Federation in Kyrgyzstan informed 24.kg news agency.
Kyrgyzstan was represented by 15 athletes, 13 of them won medals.
Murtazali Magomedov, Ilyer Bakhtiyor uulu won gold medals, Makhabat Orozbekova, Dastan Sulaimanov won silver medals and Argen Maratbek uulu, Chagatai Turatbekov, Akbar Baktybek uulu, Adis Taalaibek uulu, Kasiev Esentur, Begaiym Akbalaeva, Ainazik Rustambek kyzy, Alexander Kononenko, Aitegin Aibekov won bronze medals.
According to the official GAMMA MMA Instagram page, Kyrgyzstan’s team took the fourth place.
At least 40 countries took part in the championship.
