In case of deterioration of the situation due to the crisis, all efforts will be focused on ensuring food security, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov announced at a parliamentary session.
He urged farmers not to leave a single hectare of agricultural land unused.
«Hard-working people live in Kyrgyzstan. This year we gave the money we had on hand to the farmers. Despite the difficulties, we decided to raise wages of social sector workers by 50-100 percent from April 1. Salaries will be raised at the expense of increased collection of taxes,» the head of state said.
He reminded MPs that they can take part in cabinet meetings. «You will get answers to all your questions at the cabinet meetings, which are held every Friday,» Sadyr Japarov said.
