Council of Judges of Kyrgyzstan elects Chairman and Deputy Chairwoman

The first meeting of the new composition of the Council of Judges of the Kyrgyz Republic, which was elected at the XII Congress on March 4, took place today. Its press service reported.

Kydyk Dzhunushpaev, a judge of the Supreme Court, was elected a Chairman for three years by a majority of votes, and Rakhat Karimova, a judge of the Bishkek City Court, was elected a Deputy Chairwoman.

The new composition of the Council of Judges of the Kyrgyz Republic also includes:

  • Mukambet Kasymaliev — judge of the Constitutional Court;
  • Kumushbek Joomartov — judge of the Supreme Court;
  • Bolotbek Akmatov — judge of the Supreme Court;
  • Bolot Abdullaev — judge of Oktyabrsky District Court of Bishkek;
  • Adilet Erkebaev — judge of Chui Regional Court;
  • Nurlan Abdrazakov — judge of Osh City Court;
  • Altynai Asanalieva — judge of Aravan District Court of Osh region;
  • Nurgazy Alimkulov — judge of Batken Regional Court;
  • Kanybek Toktosun uulu — Deputy Chairman of Jalal-Abad Regional Court;
  • Ainura Sultanalieva — Deputy Chairwoman of Talas Regional Court;
  • Gulkaiyr Alieva — Chairwoman of Issyk-Kul Regional Court;
  • Talaibek Darkimbaev — Judge of Issyk-Kul Administrative Court;
  • Kaiyrdin Bakirov — Deputy Chairman, judge of Naryn Regional Court.

The Council is an elected body of judicial self-government, operating between congresses of judges.
