«We want to draw up a conceptual plan with the French, in order our architects can immediately explain where the wind blows from and what waters are present at the proposed construction site of Asman city. We will make a concrete design. We will be in Paris for nine days. There is a certified specialist there who deals with eco smart cities. Presidents of large companies will be present at the meeting. They are ready to invest in our project,» he said.
The ambitious project on construction of Asman city remains in the center of attention of not only the authorities but also of the general public in Kyrgyzstan. The state directorate promises to provide more details later, but for now there is a lot of confusion surrounding the project.
Timur Faiziev was appointed the head of the State Directorate for Construction of Asman city in Issyk-Kul region. He is suspected of complicity in corruption in obtaining land plots in Bishkek, as well as in illegal construction. The entrepreneur was put on the wanted list. The Pervomaisky District Court chose in absentia a measure of restraint for him in the form of detention. Timur Faiziev himself left the country, but later returned. His preventive measure was changed to a written undertaking not to leave the city. Investigators have not reported the outcome of the investigation by the State Committee for National Security.
