The project for construction of Asman city in Issyk-Kul region is realistic. The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov said at a press conference.
According to him, this project is supported by the President Sadyr Japarov.
We, the Kyrgyz, captured cities, destroyed, set fire to and grazed cattle around the devastated. Building a city is the dream of the Kyrgyz people. Asman is the president’s dream, I hope it will come true.

The head of the Cabinet commented on the criminal case and criticism against the head of the State Directorate for Construction of Asman city Timur Faiziev.

We offered to use his work, talent and energy for the implementation of this project. He agreed. I liked the buildings built by Timur Faiziev and his team,» the head of the Cabinet explained.
Timur Faiziev was appointed the head of the State Directorate for Construction of Asman city in Issyk-Kul region. He is suspected of complicity in corruption in obtaining land plots in Bishkek, as well as in illegal construction. The entrepreneur was put on the wanted list. The Pervomaisky District Court chose in absentia a measure of restraint for him in the form of detention. Timur Faiziev himself left the country, but later returned. His preventive measure was changed to a written undertaking not to leave the city.
