The southern capital of Kyrgyzstan will host the Alysh Belt Wrestling Championship of Kyrgyzstan among men and women in freestyle and classical style. The Department of Physical Culture and Sports reported.
The championship will be held from February 10 to February 12 in Alysh sports complex. More than 200 athletes from all regions, as well as Bishkek and Osh, are expected to participate in the tournament.
Athletes will be awarded medals and diplomas. The winners of the championship will be awarded the title of Master of Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic in alysh belt wrestling.
The championship is held to form the national team that will represent the country at the Asian and World Championships, the World Nomad Games and other international tournaments.
