Mirlan Baigonchokov was appointed a First Vice Mayor of Bishkek. Press service of the City Hall of the capital reported.
In order to increase the efficiency of the implementation of city policy directions, distribution of responsibilities between the city management and the list of territorial, structural divisions and economic entities of the City Hall, the activities of which are supervised and coordinated by the Mayor, First Vice Mayor and Vice Mayors, were approved.
«Mirlan Baigonchokov has been appointed the First Vice Mayor. He oversees economy and finance issues. The decision was made following the results of the board meeting of the City Hall with the participation of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov,» the City Hall noted.
The municipality added that the tasks of developing the economy and increasing revenues, detection of local budget reserves and improving the administration of tax and non-tax revenues were set at the board meeting, and the priority task is to implement the capital development program «Bishkek- 2026. Comfortable and Green Capital.»
Mirlan Baigonchokov will coordinate the work of the Departments of Economy and Investments, as well as the work of the City Hall in terms of financing the activities of the city’s life support systems from city sources.
By another order of the City Hall Maksatbek Sazykulov was appointed a Vice Mayor in charge of Housing, Communal Services and Digitalization. Vice Mayor Nurlan Sharshenaliev was entrusted with municipal property and land use issues, and the Vice Mayor of the city in charge of Social Issues Victoria Mozgacheva — with additional work with youth and tourism development.
Vice Mayor Azat Uzakov will oversee issues of transport, urban planning and architecture.
