Police Colonel Suyunbek Niyazbekov has been appointed a Deputy Interior Minister for Digital Development. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
«Director of the Situation Center of the Presidential Executive Office Adilet Zhanuzakov introduced Suyunbek Niyazbekov to the personnel and stated that he had been appointed a Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs for Digital Development — Head of the Main Directorate of Information Technologies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and would oversee digitalization issues in the system of internal affairs bodies,» the statement says.
Suyunbek Niyazbekov was born in Naryn in 1969. He has been working in the internal affairs bodies since 2001. He held various senior positions in the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. During the state of emergency, he was appointed a deputy commandant of Bishkek. From February 2020 up to the present day, he has held the position of the head of the Main Department.
