Guliya Kozhokmatova has been appointed an Acting Director of the Bishkek Scientific Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics (BSRCTO), which was transformed into the Clinical Emergency Hospital. The Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev read out the appointment order at a press conference.
According to the decision of the head of the Ministry of Health, the Doctor of Medicine, Professor Guliya Kozhokmatova will fulfill the duties of the Acting Director of the BSRCTO until its re-registration.
Alymkadyr Beishenaliev also ordered to re-register the BSRCTO with the justice authorities within two months.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic announced that the City Clinical Emergency Hospital on the basis of BSRCTO the will be a multidisciplinary specialized institution for providing round-the-clock emergency medical care to the population in case of acute diseases, injuries, accidents, poisoning, as well as in case of mass injuries and disasters. Lawyers of the department prepare corresponding documents. According to them, BSRCTO has not been re-registered since 2004.
The Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev believes that Sabyrbek Dzhumabekov created the center and has been appointing himself a director since 2004.
Sabyrbek Dzhumabekov, the ex- director of BSRCTO, stated that Alymkadyr Beishenaliev intends to disrupt the grant project for the construction of a new hospital.
