Investigation against Bolot Temirov and Bolot Nazarov will be objective and within the law. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ulan Niyazbekov said, commenting on their detention. His comment was sent out by the press service of the Interior Ministry.
«We did not expect that the well-known people would get into such a criminal situation. Public people, including journalists, have always helped us in prevention of various crimes, including drug trafficking. But the fact remains. We were approached with a statement, we, according to the law, had to respond and take appropriate measures. Of course, sad result is the existence of corpus delicti. The course of the investigation is fully under my control,» the press service cited the minister as saying.
I would like to stress: it saddens me that the well-known people use drugs and even persuade other citizens to do it. This is confirmed by the conclusion of the expertise.

«We are currently conducting a thorough investigation, studying where and from who the detainees received drugs, with whom they had contact, as well as all the facts related to illegal substances,» he concluded.
Police officers accompanied by special forces soldiers came to Temirov Live office in Bishkek on January 22. They detained Bolot Temirov and took him to the capital’s Department of Internal Affairs.
It became known that, along with Bolot Temirov, his colleague Bolot Nazarov was also detained. Both were released on their own recognizance not to leave the city.
