Deputies of the 7th convocation will consider the structure of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan after the New Year holidays. Parliament representatives reported.
Members of the parliamentary commission couldn’t reach a consensus when considering the proposed option that would reduce the number of committees. Some agreed that 7 committees were enough, while others demanded to increase them to 14 and elect four vice speakers.
The press office of the Parliament said the next session would take place on January 12. Parliament members will have to approve the structure at the session.
The 7th convocation of Parliament began its work on Thursday. The deputies elected a speaker, created factions and groups.
