More than 20 kilograms of drugs were found in the basement of a house in Bishkek. The Interior Ministry reported.
Officers of the State Service on Drug Control stopped a Ford Focus car driven by I.M. During inspection of the luggage, they found a plastic bag with a dark green substance in the form of dry grass with a peculiar odor similar to marijuana — a narcotic substance.
An oval-shaped, dark green substance with a specific odor was also confiscated from the passenger of the car.
A synthetic bag containing eight cellophane bags with a powdery substance of light-brown color of vegetable origin with a specific odor of cannabis, which resembled hashish narcotic substance, was found in the basement of I.M.’s house.
The man explained that «a guy nicknamed Busu gave him the cargo for delivery to Bishkek and that he should pick it up in the near future.» This citizen was also detained.
The weight of the seized drugs amounted approximately to 22 kilograms. A forensic chemical examination was scheduled.
