At least 1,862 cases of domestic violence were registered in Kyrgyzstan in 2021. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
According to the press service of the ministry, 1,917 facts were registered in 2020.
At least 50 police mobile reception centers operate to date in regions of the republic, and during the year they made more than 6,000 visits, including to remote areas. At the same time, law enforcement officers met with 25,000 citizens, considered 7,000 appeals and statements.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that 1,957 cases of domestic violence have been registered in the republic since the beginning of 2021.
