The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev met with the heads of the leading wide-profile Indian clinics Fortis and Dharamshila Narayana. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The meeting took place within the framework of participation in India — Central Asia dialogue in New Delhi. The parties discussed further steps to optimize the conditions for treatment of Kyrgyz patients in Indian clinics.
Ruslan Kazakbaev told about the reforms in the country and creation of conditions for the use of advanced information technologies, training of medical specialists and the construction of modern hospitals.
Taking into account the large number of citizens of Kyrgyzstan traveling to foreign countries for treatment, in particular to India for organ transplant surgeries, Ruslan Kazakbaev noted the importance of expanding telemedicine to all seven regions of Kyrgyzstan, opening of diagnostic centers in remote regions.
He invited Indian doctors to visit Kyrgyzstan to study the prospects for cooperation in the medical field.
Indian specialists intend to open information and consultation centers of their clinics in Bishkek and Osh cities, the purpose of which will be to organize treatment of local patients, as well as exchange experience in organ transplantation, conduct trainings, master classes for medical workers from the Kyrgyz Republic.
