Signatures for resignation of the Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev are collected in Kyrgyzstan. A pediatrician Bakhtiyar Absamatov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the medical community can send a petition with signatures to his e-mail absamatov86@mail.ru.
«Each healthcare organization can draw up its own petition, and I will then collect all the signatures and hand them over. I hope that the president of the country will hear us and pay attention to the sphere of health care. For 12 months under the leadership of Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, no real reforms improving the state of medicine have happened, there is no need to waste more time. Neither medics nor ordinary citizens have confidence in the minister,» Bakhtiyar Absamatov said.
The pediatrician Bakhtiar Absamatov became known to Kyrgyzstanis when he did not let representatives of the Ministry of Health into the observation unit, because the officials were without special equipment. The second time his name was mentioned after he made a video appeal to the president, asking him to raise the salaries of medical workers. Later he left the polyclinic and joined the ranks of the independent trade union of medical workers in order to seek justice.
