The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan will issue visas to 249 students from Afghanistan. The ministry reported.
According to it, the OSCE Academy and AUCA filed a request for visas.
«The ministry is working on the issue of issuing visas to 500 Afghan students with the relevant government agencies. Currently, study visas are issued in accordance with the established rules. Work in this direction continues,» the Foreign Ministry said.
Earlier, the State Committee for National Security said that they consider it their duty to provide all possible support to talented Afghan students by providing them with student visas to study at universities in Kyrgyzstan.
On August 15, the radical Taliban movement announced establishment of full control over the entire territory of Afghanistan
