Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan and Russian Ambassador discuss cooperation

Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Kyrgyzstan Nikolai Udovichenko. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

The head of Government noted that Russia is a strategic partner, a close friend of Kyrgyzstan; the states are linked by historical and cultural background. During the meeting, the parties discussed a set of issues related to health care, education, cultural, humanitarian spheres, economic cooperation, improvement of the investment climate, support for joint Kyrgyz-Russian projects and other topical issues of partnership of mutual interest.

«Ulukbek Maripov stressed that the Government will carry out appropriate work to implement the agreements reached between the heads of the two states during the visit of the President Sadyr Japarov to the Russian Federation. In turn, Nikolai Udovichenko assured of his readiness to promptly resolve topical issues of Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation,» the statement says.
