Deputy Asylbek Jeenbekov asked the invited officials why they were not talking about the share of fisheries in Kyrgyzstan in the structure of GDP.
According to the ex-speaker of the Parliament, the fishing industry is one of the most profitable today.
«We need to pay special attention to the fishing industry, and you mix it with forestry. Fisheries have a high development potential. This sphere can increase the share of agriculture in the structure of GDP,» Asylbek Jeenbekov said.
He believes that farmers who decided to develop the fishing industry should be granted priority loans.
«Fish farming and fish production as a whole will pay for themselves in a maximum of two years if farmers are granted loans,» said the deputy.
