Volume of accumulated water in Toktogul reservoir is 16.8 billion cubic meters. The Chairman of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use, Emil Osmonbetov, announced at a meeting of the government of Kyrgyzstan.
According to him, this is 930 million cubic meters less than in 2018.
«But according to our forecasts, the volume of water is enough until the spring of 2020. During the outages of Toktogul HPP, Bishkek Heating and Power Plant will operate in power generation mode,» the Chairman of the Board of the National Energy Holding added.
