Emergency Situations Ministry of Kyrgyzstan developed a mobile application «112 — Kyrgyzstan» through which one can contact emergency services. Press service of the ministry reported.
The application was developed to enhance public participation in detection of offenses, prevent emergencies and ensure rapid response to detection and suppression of offenses, as well as to take measures to prevent emergencies that are dangerous to the life and health of the population.
«The application «112 — Kyrgyzstan» allows users to send messages attaching photos, videos, audio materials. At the same time, a user can be notified of threats to the life of the population and receive the necessary information about provision of first aid,» the ministry noted.
The application is currently available to owners of Android-based gadgets. As for iOS, it is being checked by App Store administrators.
