The Kyrgyz in Yakutia are asked not to leave their homes until settlement of the situation. Kyrgyzstanis living in the republic told 24.kg news agency.
According to their information, there are beaten among the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.
«There is evidence that two were beaten in the morning. Yesterday, drivers of buses were attacked. The situation is stable today. Trade places of migrants in the market are empty, vegetable shops of the Kyrgyz and the Uzbeks are closed. Kyrgyz communicate with each other by phone and share information,» told Shakir Toktobaev, a pensioner of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
Representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora conduct explanatory work among the migrants. The head of Yntymak Diaspora, Zhazbek Bekboliev, told that he was in talks with the authorities of Yakutia.
«We were warned not to walk in groups and not to leave houses without urgent need,» the migrants said.
A rally against migrants took place in Yakutia the day before. It was caused by information about abduction and rape of a local woman by a group of migrants.
