Kyrgyz potatoes do not withstand price competition. Deputy Chairman of the Independent Trade Union of Truckers of the Kyrgyz Republic Igor Golubev announced at a meeting with farmers at the Ministry of Agriculture.
According to him, local farmers overestimate the price of potatoes.
«Nowadays, the market dictates its own conditions, our prices are high, and there are problems with grades. But at the same time, our potatoes are tasty, good,» Igor Golubev said.
He proposed to urgently build logistics centers, storage rooms and laboratories to promote exports.
