An ambulance of the Family Medicine Center of Chui region got into a traffic accident. It is the only one ambulance serving Alamedin district of the capital around the clock. Kubat Nurmatov, head of the District Ambulance Service, confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the traffic accident happened yesterday in Bishkek at the intersection of Moskovskaya and Tynystanov Streets.
«We were transporting a patient with nosebleeds to the Otolaryngology Department of the National Hospital. Our car was driving with the turned on sirens when the driver of a car crashed into us. After hospitalization of the patient, doctors of the ambulance turned to the neurotrauma department, an x-ray was made, and they were diagnosed with brain concussion and soft tissue bruises of varying severity. The patient was not injured in the traffic accident,» Kubat Nurmatov told.
According to him, both cars were put on the car impound. The culprit promised to pay for repairs of the ambulance and treatment of doctors.
