Young performers from Kyrgyzstan will take part in a competition of patriotic songs on Yamal. The representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The Patriotic Song Competition «Roads of Generations» is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from the Republic of Afghanistan. Its main goal is to preserve the memory of the deceased soldiers, to promote patriotic and moral values among the youth.
The event will be held in the beginning of February in Noyabrsk (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug).
«The competition will be attended by performers, vocal-instrumental ensembles and vocal groups who have become laureates and diploma winners of festivals and competitions of patriotic songs, compatriots living abroad, at the age from 14 to 30 years,» the representative office said.
Young performers Timur Kozhobekov and Zhanarbai uulu Miran will represent Kyrgyzstan.
