National Cuisine Days will be held at the Russian Kant airbase in Kyrgyzstan on New Year’s holidays. The menu card of the military personnel of the airbase will include the dishes of Russian and Oriental cuisines.
According to Zvezda TV channel, beshbarmak and plov, which are traditional for the republic, will be on the holiday table, for dessert — exotic oriental sweets and fruit, which the region is famous for in winter.
«The festive menu will be not only in the stationary dining room, but also for servicemen on duty and on guard of the duty,» the message says.
The united Russian Kant air base is a part of the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces and participates in ensuring the security of the airspace of the CSTO states. The air base is equipped with Su-25 attack aircraft and Mi-8 helicopters.
