The second stage of the command and staff exercises of the Ministry of Emergency Situations with the governing bodies and civil defense forces of the region ended the day before in Naryn region of Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
During the exercises, the organization and conducting of rescue and other urgent work in the emergency situation area and ensuring safety of the population affected by the earthquake were worked out.
During the practical part of the exercises, emergency rescue operations in case of a traffic accident, extinguishing a fire and spilling of highly toxic substances were carried out. Evacuation of the wounded from a multi-storey building, providing assistance to victims of an electric shock, clearing houses from collapses and destruction were worked out.
