Mayor of Bishkek issued an order to build a daycare center for children on the site of the burnt down building of Pervomaisky Tax Inspectorate on 193, Tynystanov Street. Gulya Almambetova, the Public Adviser on Information Policy to capital’s mayor, informed 24.kg news agency.
According to her, there were many disputes about the future of the territory. To make a decision, the mayor decided to find out the history of the land plot.
It turned out that there was a kindergarten with the Russian language of instruction in Soviet time at this place.
«When we learned that there used to be a kindergarten here, the mayor of Bishkek immediately said that there would be no business center on this territory. It was his personal decision to build a daycare center on this site. The mayor decided to restore historical justice. The decree has already been signed. The Capital Construction Department will start designing a daycare center,» Gulya Almambetova stressed.
