Migrants including Kyrgyz citizens detained in Moscow for no reason

Migrants are detained in Moscow for no reason. A human rights activist Valentina Chupik told 24.kg news agency.

According to her, 112 people were kept at Perovo police department. The human rights defender managed to talk to 44, at least 19 of them were the citizens of Kyrgyzstan, 14 — of Tajikistan, 11 — of Uzbekistan.

«Only three out of 112 detainees committed any violations, the rest were simply detained on national hatred grounds. The average period of detention was 8.5 hours. There were those, who were kept for more than a day without food and water, and some were kicked out within 10 minutes because I was there and called all agencies,» Valentina Chupik told.
