Ilham Aliyev offered Sooronbai Jeenbekov to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan. The press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Ilham Aliyev arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the meeting of the summit of the heads of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States.
«The Kyrgyz Republic attaches great importance to the further development of fraternal relations built on mutual trust and respect. We are ready for an open and informative conversation with our friends on all aspects. I want to sincerely congratulate you on the 100th anniversary of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan,» Sooronbai Jeenbekov said.
«I attach great importance to cooperation with Kyrgyzstan. We intend to increase cooperation in all areas — political and economic ties, transport opportunities are very good,» Ilham Aliyev said and added that today’s meeting would give a new impetus to relations that would continue to develop successfully.
The heads of state discussed topical issues of cooperation, practical implementation of previously reached agreements and the development of bilateral cooperation.
Sooronbai Jeenbekov also invited the President Ilham Aliyev to pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan, stressing that this would be an important step towards further strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.
