In January-June 2018, at least 10,305 preferential loans were issued in Kyrgyzstan in the amount of 4,614,987 billion soms. Zhanybek Kerimaliyev, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation, told at a press conference today.
According to him, the amount of loans by 1.2 billion soms exceeds the amount of money issued to the farmers in 2017.
Under Crop Production program, 2,951 farm enterprises received loans for a total amount of 1,117 billion soms. At least 7,120 people received a loan for a total of 2.6 billion soms for the development of livestock production. About 59 loans in the amount of 845,363 million soms were issued within Processing program.
Note, 264 economic entities without collateral received loans for 23 million soms.
