The volume of overdue loans at the end of the first half of 2023 amounted to 6.3 billion soms, or 2.8 percent of the loan portfolio of the banking system. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
Compared to the end of 2022, it increased by 800 million soms (15.1 percent).
At the same time, the share of classified loans in the credit portfolio of the banking system reached 10.9 percent, or 24.9 billion soms. Compared to the results of 2022, the figure decreased by 1.2 billion soms.
