«The fight against corruption must be ruthless, regardless of the rank and office,» the President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov said during a working meeting with the employees of the Security Council Secretariat.
The head of state reminded that the declaration campaign began on July 1, and warned about the need to thoroughly check the income and expenditure reports of all civil servants without exception.
«Check each ministry and department for active corruption schemes, each official individually. Citizens expect concrete actions and tough measures to eradicate corruption. The Secretariat of the Security Council should study and work on every application and letter received from the public, conduct inspections and take appropriate measures. No statement or letter should be left without attention. Receive each citizen and solve their problems,» Sooronbai Jeenbekov stressed.
The head of state instructed the Secretariat of the Security Council to prepare for the next meeting, which is scheduled for August-September 2018.
Secretary of the Security Council Damir Sagynbaev told that the decision of the Security Council was implemented at the proper level. All employees, who have submitted the declarations, are subject to inspection. First of all, the declarations of persons holding political posts, including those of the Presidential Administration, the Executive Office of the Government and the Parliament, will be checked. The first results of this audit will be announced in September-October 2018.
