Officials of the Registration and Examination Department under the State Registration Service illegally issued driver’s licenses to those, who were deprived of them. The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to the supervisory agency, criminal cases were initiated on the illegal issue of driving licenses under Article 304 (abuse of office) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It was found out that on February 10, 2016 by the decision of the Oktyabrsky District Court of Bishkek, citizen U.L was deprived of the right to drive vehicles for one year. However, on April 11, 2016, officials of the Alamudun Registration and Examination Department illegally issued him a driving license.
A similar fact was revealed in the Bishkek city department, where the officials, despite the decision of the Oktyabrsky District Court to deprive the citizen E.U. of the right to drive vehicles for one year, illegally issued him a driving license on January 11, 2016.
Criminal cases were sent for investigation.
