The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sooronbai Jeenbekov, allocated 2.4 million soms for the purchase of medicines for the children’s department of the National Center of Oncology and Hematology. The presidential press service reported.
The decision was made because of insufficient funding for the treatment of cancer patients. The amount allocated from the republican budget does not fully meet the need, and complex treatment of children requires high-tech and expensive treatment.
Funds are allocated from the Presidential Fund for Social Protection and Support.
