A Kyrgyz citizen, employee of a pumping station, was attacked by unknown persons in the Uzbek enclave Sokh in the territory of Batken region of Kyrgyzstan. The State Border Service informed 24.kg news agency.
According to the agency, residents of the nearby villages are indignant and demand to bring the perpetrators to responsibility. Heads of frontier territories, law enforcement officers gathered for an emergency meeting. At the moment, the situation is stable. The State Border Service stressed that this was just hooliganism, not a border conflict.
