Dacha built in Ala-Archa state residence for Almazbek Atambayev

A summer house (dacha) was built at the territory of Ala-Archa state residence for 89.3 million soms for ex-president of Kyrgyzstan. At least 77.8 million soms of the sum were allocated by the former head of state himself. Azattyk reported.

According to the Law on Guarantees of the President’s Activities, Almazbek Atambayev has the right to welfare support. One of the state summer houses, located on the territory of the state residence Ala-Archa, is provided to the former president for lifetime use.

Therefore, a decision was made to construct a new building, since there were no free state houses on the territory of the state residence.

The state dacha No. 17 was built at the expense of extra-budgetary funds, funds were not allocated from the republican budget. The actual cost of the facility with all external and internal utilities, landscaping and a two-car garage amounted to 89.3 million soms.

Almazbek Atambayev allocated 77.8 million soms for construction and installation works from his own funds as sponsor support. At the moment, he lives there with his family.

This object, like others in the state residence, is state property and is not subject to privatization or denationalization. The house is one-storey building with a basement floor, where technical and utility rooms are located. The total area of the new dacha is 301.8 square meters with 141.6 square meters of living space.

The state dacha No. 17 is much smaller than Ordo guest house, where President Sooronbai Jeenbekov lives.

In addition, Almazbek Atambayev is building a house in Koi-Tash village on the outskirts of Bishkek.
