The mother, who threw her newborn daughter into a toilet, was sentenced to two years in prison. The Head of the Social Development Department for Leninsky district Azhara Mambetsseitova told 24.kg news agency.
According to her, specialists of the department received a court decision. Relatives of the child were found.
«Grandmother wants to take the child. Just a week and a half ago, we gave her a list of necessary documents. If she has all the documents, we can give the child first for preliminary care for a period of six months, and then the court will decide the adoption issue,» said Azhara Mambetsseitova.
The grandmother already brings up the older (three-year) daughter of the accused. The first marriage of the woman was not registered too. The girl has the surname of the mother.
Recall, on July 31, the police department for Leninsky district received a message that a baby was found in a toilet in one of the yards of the housing estate Archa-Beshik.
Criminal case was initiated under Article 28-100 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (attempted murder of a newborn by the mother). Later, the mother was found. It was a native of Naryn region, who lived at the time in the housing estate Archa-Beshik.
