Active participant of fighting in Syria detained in Kyrgyzstan

An active participant of the fighting in Syria was detained in Kyrgyzstan, press service of the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

It is noted that the 27-year-old militant of the international terrorist organization underwent sabotage and terrorist training and actively participated in military operations against Syrian government troops.

At the direction of the leaders of international terrorist organization, the detainee arrived in Kyrgyzstan to commit sabotage and subversive actions and form new channels for the transfer of militants to Syria.

A criminal case was opened. The detainee was imprisoned in the detention center of SCNS.
