At least 233 citizens of Kyrgyzstan have been returned home from Syria since February 2021.
Kamchybek Tashiev, Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, announced at the first CIS conference on combating terrorism and extremism.
The mission is carried out within the framework of humanitarian missions from Syria and Iraq. According to Kamchybek Tashiev, they are 184 children and 49 women.
