Kyrgyzstan simplifies entry to border areas

The Government of Kyrgyzstan has shortened the terms for obtaining permission for entry and stay in the border area for citizens and organizations engaged in economic and other activities in the border areas of the country. Information Support Department of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

 According to it, the decree was signed by the Prime Minister Sapar Isakov. The changes will allow to shorten the time for obtaining a permit from nine to three working days from the moment the application and the necessary documents are submitted.

 It is reported that the term for registration of a petition and sending it to the national security agencies for coordination has been reduced to one working day.

Approval of the entry (passage) of citizens into the border territory by the national security authorities shall be carried out within one working day from the moment of receipt of the documents.

 After obtaining permission to enter the border territory, citizens and organizations, depending on their location, can submit permits and their copies to the border guard agencies, as well as to the border guard detachment, outpost and department.
